Workforce Development

Skill Development:

Fundamentally, well-established companies competently invest and grow in geographical locations that comprise of at least a 75% skilled residential population. Employment opportunities have become essentially diverse making available jobs increasingly difficult to acquire without having the required skillset for an occupation. The reality is, factory and line work that was once considered the most reliable profession that any mid-low income family could attain, has now been reinvented and more challenging to obtain. Eze identifies from personal experience having to abruptly shift occupations in order to meet the demand. Subsequently, working with community outreach programs, Eze cultivated a lifestyle of civic service over thirteen years. Working closely with multiple workforce development programs, Eze will aid residents the opportunity to be skilled in not just one field but in multiple arenas as well. Paving the way to not only bring business investments to District 6, but creating more job opportunities as well.

Reentry:

Affirmed, rehabilitated former inmates should be given prospective opportunities in the workplace. Statistics have shown, an 87% chance that ex-felons will revert back into prison, if they are not employed within 9 months or longer. Eze’s benevolent devotion will be to fervently work with Legislators to produce initiatives that would encourage business proprietors to offer employment opportunities and compromise other resources of effective methods.

A PROVEN LEADER WITH INTEGRITY

Education

Understanding the affective social issues that impact service demand is crucial to devising effective interventions in District 6. Eze will initiate and nurture a coalition development to address challenging educational concerns. As a technology consultant, Eze also knows how important it is that our schools are properly equipped with the updated innovation. Eze will fight hard and support the allocation funds that will be used to equip our students and teachers with latest technical and innovative educational tools. No child should be left behind. Therefore, empowering our citizens and edifying our youth is essential to not only community growth and development but to society as a whole.

Youth Advancement and Placement

These are perilous times for many of our low-income families and our youth suffer from lack of support. As a young man who grew up in an impoverished community of Pontiac, MI, Eze is conversant with adversities of such meager conditions. Forced to adapt to his environment, spawned a gallant man with conviction. Dedicating his time and forming youth programs for the past 7 years, Eze will assist in coordinating as well as participating in outreach programs aimed at promoting fundamental ethics, philanthropy and career placement designed to encourage our youths and excel our young leaders of tomorrow.

Senior Advocacy

Our seniors have worked very hard most of their lives and have paved the path for many of the opportunities and rights we are privileged with today. Our seniors should never have to worry about their pensions, social security or high health insurance coverage. There is an wide open injustice of our seniors and Eze will stand side by side with them battling for the rights that they truly deserve and have earned.

Environment Sustainability

Over the past decade, District 6 residents have been plagued by the large increase of abandoned homes. In addition, these abandoned homes have not only created a large amount of blight in the neighborhoods, but have also left hazardous waste and chemicals to filter into the ground. Furthermore, the growing amount of air pollution from the high traffic of semi trucks and smog from corporation's just blocks away from the neighborhoods, has taken away the right to fresh clean air from the residents of the community. Eze's love and passion for the equality of life will be shown in Lansing as he will hold those corporations and home owners accountable for not meeting EPA rules and regulations.
